The Second Annual Faster than the Pastor 5K is coming together to be another EXCITING and rewarding event!  With a Team Division added to this years race, expect to have even more cloth to clock!  With the two stellar course records set in 2011, we are ready for FINE performances from all of you!  Register early for lower registration rates!

Faster than the Pastor 5K is held in conjunction with the annual St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Harvest Festival. The festival is a great weekend of fun for the entire family that includes kids games, inflatables, music, beer tent, raffles (with large cash prizes), silent auction, mini-golf, dinner a talent show and more!     

As a major fundraiser for the parish community, the festival has something for everyone.  This year it includes the inaugural Faster than the Pastor 5K, and a children’s Shepherd’s Flock 1K event.  With a twist to your typical 5K….IF YOU ARE Faster than the Pastor, you will have your name entered into a raffle to win an iPad2!

Also present at the event is Claire Frances Baker – The Shoe Collector. This 15 year old, St Vincent de Paul graduate is collecting your old running, walking, sandals & others from the back of your closet – providing Soles4Souls around the world. Shoe drop off will be located near the registration area.  With your help Claire Frances has collected over 31,100 pair of shoes for those in need around the world!
